How I make my chocolate brownies!

These are extremely rich but delicious.

I love baking brownies,  I know what’s in them, how they’ve been made when I do them myself. As soon as I make my brownies everyone comes round for some and I enjoy making them for everyone to. They’re great for parties and many occasions.

They’re simple and easy to make with ingredients you’ll most likely have in the house anyway, I would say the prep time would be 10-15 minutes.

This is how I make them and what I use!


250g Bourneville chocolate bar *personal preference*

1.5oz cocoa powder

6oz unsalted butter

3 medium eggs

8.5oz brown caster sugar

2.5oz plain flour and I use McDougalls 

First I pre heat my oven to gas mask 4, grease and line the brownie tin.

I melt the chocolate bar and butter in a hot pan, once its melted I take it off the heat and let it cool slightly. Its important to let it cool enough at this stage otherwise the next step will be chocolate scrambled eggs instead of a smooth brownie mix!

After it’s cooled I whisk in the eggs and sugar until the mixture is thick and creamy – no lumps!

Lastly I sift in the flour and cocoa powder while still whisking and pour into the tin… or tins… or cases, that all depends on what shape, style or kind of brownie design you’re going for!

I bake for 25-30 minutes on a middle shelf. You want it to be soft but not a complete liquid in the middle!

And wahoo your kitchen smells like chocolate and you’ve made a tasty treat.

I also like to bake cupcakes, muffins, cookies everything that can be baked!!
